Enterprise Washington was formed in April 2008 after a significant reorganization of United for Washington. Enterprise Washington envisions a state in which residents enjoy a very high quality of life in sustainable communities, where those seeking employment find high quality jobs with good compensation, and where those who invest their capital and hard work can grow firms that flourish and are profitable. In order to create and renew this vision for Washington state, Enterprise Washington works pro-actively to help Washington state businesses stay competitive in the national and global marketplace by fostering a politically educated and involved business community.
